Easter_day_049_1 It’s the third day since my last paper and I’ve received loads of questions regarding my departure date from my peeps. They kept on asking me, "When’s your last paper?" and I’ll say "Monday the 24th of April" and they’ll say "What are you still doing here, when are you going home???" Why is everyone so eager to go home??? Going home to me means trouble ’cause there’s just so much to do like packing and cleaning. Other than that, we’ve gotta carry our stuffs from the third floor to the car and mind you, my books weigh more than 5kg!!! So to me, going home for the semester break is a DRAG!!!

Going_back_012 Okay, today me and my room-mate went shooping at Sungei Wang and Berjaya Times Square. The journey there was pretty comfortable and judging by Li May’s facial expression, I was able to tell that she totally dozed off on our way to KL Sentral. If I didn’t wake her up, she’ll end up in Rawang instead. I really wanted to do so but luckily the angel on my left shoulder defeated the devil on my right shoulder. So, I did woke her up and we went to Sg Wang and Times Square to shop. Hahaha!!!

We spent about more than 4 hours of walking around and window shopping, 1 hour of real shopping, 1 hour for lunch and 2 hours++ in the KTM!!! Come to think of it, we did a lot of walking, standing and waiting instead of shopping. Man, my feet hurts, my neck is pretty stiff and my shoulders ache. I never thought that shopping would require me to have such high levels of tolerance, stamina and patience!!!

OMG, the 2hours++ in the KTM is a total drag as the air was thick, the air-conditioner wasn’t really working and is was pretty crowded. We stopped at Serdang for more then 15mins and along the way, we did make a couple of pit stops which were very time consuming too. Aiyoyo, the whole journey was pretty tiring as we had to stand in the stuffy deck for more than 1hour!!! My advice to you guys out there is, ‘Practice your stamina and your foot work!!!’. Oh yah, put in a little bit of patience too!!!

Overall, I had a great time today and thank God that we had a really fruitful and save journey. I’m actually really looking forward to our next outing!!! I still haven’t decided when to go back so please don’t ask me that question again.

Dun you have anything else better to do???

Speech_com_025_2 It’s the exam season again and what I’m I doing here??? Blogging during the exam season??? Alicia, dun you have more important things to tend to ‘like studying’??? Hahaha!!! Well, I dun know what’s gotten into me this semester, I can’t seem to concentrate on my studies and all I think about is going online, checking mails and stuffs like that. Can’t believe that I’m giving into this sort of temptations!!! Everytime I try to study, my mind will just wander off and my hands will magically move themselves towards the on button of my laptop and suddenly my laptop is on. Hahaha!!! Once my laptop is on, it’ll stay on for at least 3 hours. Believe it or not is up to you.

Everytime a couple of hours before my paper starts; I’ll just go paranoid and guess who will be the victim of my insaneness??? Well, typically it’ll be my room-mate and my friends who are sitting for the same paper. So, I wanna apologize for my behavior towards you guys and hopefully it’ll not happen again in the near future. Hmmm…… I can’t seem to control myself from the entire exam craze. I’ve got all the exam fever symptoms like stomach cramp, dizziness and so on so for. Well that’s the typical me!!!

3 more papers to go and I’ll be given the key of freedom. I’ll be able to set myself apart from all this nonsense and redeem myself once again. So I’m wishing for the better and less tensed moments of my life to come asap!!! Hahaha!!!

I’ve graduated from Speech Communication Class!!! Hahaha!!!

Project_010 Wopee…..I’ve just got through my first paper of the second semester. Well this paper doesn’t requires us to do much writing but it does a lot of talking had to be done ‘cause the paper that I’ve just mentioned is Speech Communication. Throughout the entire semester, we were required to talk as much as possible and I never ever thought that I’ll be facing so many tribulations in this particular class since I’ve always been a very talk active person. Well anyway, it was fun going to Miss Roselind’s classes for she has always been nice, friendly and caring towards us. Well needless to say, she’s the best lecturer I’ve come across with since coming to UKM.

Background_1 The last part of the course was the project presentation where we were divided into groups of 5 to 6 person per group and we have to come up with a topic based on all the aspects of communication. We were also required to carry out interviews, do some surveys and observation or just anything to get the relevant informations regarding our topics. Well our group’s topic was “Speak Through Your Attire”. All of our group members did the questionnaire part and also conducted several interviews. Then for the presentation, we had to create posters regarding to out questionnaire and interview results. I had the one of the most interesting task to fulfill that is the multimedia slide show for out talk show. Well, I think that I’ve spent more than 24 hours to get it done but hey I enjoyed the whole process of creating and editing the slide show. I believe that I’ve got a nick for this type of things regarding to IT and multimedia stuffs. Hahaha!!!

Project_012 Well basically, everyone in our group did a great and wonderful job. The Talk Show was entitled “Today With Alicia” and needless to say that I was appointed to be the host by our very funny, slightly siao but very organized leader that is Joyce Tan loh. Overall, we did a couple of mistakes along the way but I believe that we did a great job and mistakes help us grow mentally. Amen to that!!! We did receive some praises regarding our talk show, multimedia slideshow and our attires but the one comment that I totally agree with is the one on not utilizing our posters that well. Anyway, it’s already in the past now and there’s no way we can travel back to the past to redo and remake what’s already been done. Hallelujah, I really enjoyed the times we had together in or out of class. Who could ever think that Speech Communication can be fun and enjoyable at the same time???

Argh………There’s just one word that pops out of my mind now that is “FURIUOS”.

Ufo

I’m very "FURIOUS "with the stupid, shitty, lousy and unorganized bus system in UKM!!! I’ve waited for more than an hour under the hot sun for the stupid bus to come to the komuter station to fetch me back to my college!!! How can the bus system in UKM be so unorganized, inconsistent and just plain dumb!!! What the heck are the bus drivers hired for when none of them wants to do their job properly and efficiently??? I really want to knock the sense out of the UKM authorities for the below poor rating bus system.

The bus drivers are not only not punctual, they’re also damn impolite to us. I’ve been yelled and scolded in front of other students by the ignorant bus driver for not waving at him. Why on earth would I wave at him when I’m already ‘like standing on the roadside’ to wait for him to stop??? Besides that, how am I suppose to know that we have to wave at the bus drivers to halt them when I don’t really board the bus that often??? Anyway, who wants to go on the stupid and shitty buses in UKM. Well, this does not imply to those who are staying in Kausar and Keris Mas ’cause they have to board the buses to get to their respective faculties. To come and think of it, they don’t even deserve my fees of RM100 plus plus for the lousy and shitty services. I rather pay the taxi driver than the arrogant and ignorant bus drivers in UKM.

Well there ain’t nothing else I can do or say about the bus system in UKM. Just wanna say that "you stink UKM".
